International Biology Olympiad 2025 – Bronze Medal Achievement

We are proud to announce that Joel LAI Yat-long represented the Hong Kong China Team at the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2025, held in Manila, Philippines, from July 20th to 27th, 2025. Joel demonstrated outstanding performance and was awarded a Bronze Medal, showcasing his dedication, scientific aptitude, and perseverance on the international stage.
The IBO is a prestigious global competition that brings together the most talented secondary school students in biology. This year, 298 participants from 77 countries competed in a rigorous program that emphasized both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills. Students were challenged to apply analytical thinking and conduct experiments to solve complex biological problems.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Joel for this remarkable achievement. His success reminds us of the power of curiosity and the importance of nurturing a lifelong passion for learning.

On 27 September 2024, our school had the privilege of hosting an enlightening talk on “The Government’s work on improving district governance,” delivered by Miss Alice Mak, SBS, JP, Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, and accompanied by Mr. Michael Kwan Ke Lin, JP, District Officer of Tuen Mun. The event aimed to raise students' awareness about the importance of effective governance at the district level and its impact on their communities.
