The Competition on the Mathematics of Information (CMI) 2024

The Competition on the Mathematics of Information (CMI) is a mathematics competition for senior secondary school students organized by the Mathematics and Information Engineering Programme (a joint programme offered by the Departments of Mathematics and Information Engineering at CUHK) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The competition consists of 4 to 5 challenging math questions, with interesting connections to information sciences.
Our team members, 5D YANG Jingke, won 2nd place among several hundred participants. 5D FONG Lok-man and 6B LO Ka-wai also received honorable mention in this competition.
