F.3 Study Tour to Nanjing in 2026
03 Jul 2026
During the 1st Global Study Week, our Form 3 students embarked on a meaningful four-day educational trip to Nanjing. This journey provided them with valuable opportunities to broaden their horizons, deepen their cultural understanding, and connect their learning beyond the classroom.
School Visit and Cultural Exchange
One of the highlights of the trip was the visit to a local school, where students had the chance to learn about the campus life of local students and exchange learning experiences. Through interactive activities and discussions, they gained first-hand insights into the daily routines, learning environment, and aspirations of their Nanjing peers. This exchange not only enhanced their communication skills but also fostered mutual understanding and friendship.
Exploring Nanjing Museum
The students also visited the Nanjing Museum, where they learned about Nanjing’s history, culture, and traditions. By exploring the museum’s extensive collections, they gained a deeper appreciation for the city’s rich heritage.
Understanding Modern Chinese History
In addition, the students explored the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace of Nanjing to learn about important events and key figures in modern Chinese history. These visits brought history to life, enabling students to connect with significant moments and influential figures.
Overall, the Nanjing study trip was a rich and rewarding experience. It not only strengthened students’ academic knowledge but also cultivated their cultural awareness, sense of history, and global perspective.
