A Cinematic Success: Another World (世外) Private Screening

A Cinematic Success: Another World (世外) Private Screening

 29 Apr 2026

On 11 April 2026, a full house of enthusiastic students and alumni of PLKC gathered at YOHO Broadway Cinema for a highly successful private screening of the critically acclaimed film Another World (世外). The film has recently won the Best Animated Feature at the 62nd Golden Horse Awards and earned eight nominations at the 44th Hong Kong Film Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. All tickets on that day were distributed to students and alumni who enjoyed the shared cinematic experience. This wonderful event was made possible through the generous sponsorship of our alumni. Their incredible support highlights the strong and enduring bonds of our school network and their dedication to giving back to their alma mater.

Following the film, the audience was treated to an inspiring meet-and-greet session with the film producer—and our very own alumna—Ms. Polly Yeung. She shared her journey during the production process, offering fascinating behind-the-scenes insights that gave everyone a profound appreciation for the art of filmmaking. This event was a proud reminder that our alumni truly shine across a diverse range of industries. We are thrilled to see PLKC graduates making their mark in all walks of life, including creative arts. Above all, this gathering beautifully showcased the deep love and enduring bond of the PLKC family, forged by our dedicated alumni. We are confident that this profound spirit of unity will continue to be passed down, inspiring and nurturing our students for generations to come.

Special thanks to our alumni sponsors:
