To promote the development of artificial intelligence education and foster proactive engagement of Hong Kong students with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as enhance exchanges and collaboration between students in Hong Kong and Guangdong province in various fields, the “Bay Area Hong Kong Centre” in collaboration with “the Consultative Committee on Guangdong-Hong Kong Co-operation(Guangzhou Nansha) (also known as the CCGHKC)” is organizing the “GBA Smart Transportation Inter-school Challenge”. 

“Smart transportation” is the focal point of this challenge, which utilizes the real-life environment of the Qing Sheng Hub in Nansha District, Guangzhou. Through solving different problems, it aims to inspire students to engage in independent creativity, while integrating their innovative, technological, and collaborative abilities. Participants are tasked with designing an autonomous self-driving shuttle bus for a smart city, which must complete multiple checkpoint missions within a limited time.
