Our trip to Seoul in April 2024 was an eye-opening experience that blended modern innovation with rich history and culture. From automotive advancements to traditional palaces, every destination left a unique impression on our F.4 and F.5 students of Chinese History and Literature. When visiting the Hyundai Motorstudio in Goyang, it was fascinating to see how the company integrated sustainability into its future designs. Witnessing the changing of the guards in the Gyeongbokgung Palace was a highlight. A visit to the National Folk Museum of Korea enriched our understanding of Korean culture and traditions. We also admired the eclectic architecture and vibrant art installations in the Heyri Art Village. Walking through the War Memorial of Korea not only provided insights into the struggles faced, but also highlighted the sacrifices made by countless individuals. It was a poignant reminder of the importance of peace and understanding. This journey through Seoul was a remarkable blend of modernity, tradition, and reflection.
