Diplomacy in Action: Our Students Excel at SCMUN 2026

 02 Sep 2026

SCMUN stands for the See Change Model United Nations, a two-day in-person conference organized by See Change Education and the Hong Kong Innovative Education Association (HKIEA) in partnership with the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). Held from 8 to 9 August 2026, the event provided a platform for students to simulate UN proceedings, debate global issues, and propose solutions.

Nine of our students participated in the conference:
2A ZHAO Tsz Yan Vanessa
2B LEUNG Chung Long John
2C LUK Hailey
3A TANG Yi Ling
3B JIANG Sui Kit Jack
4B CHAN Ting Hei
4B TANG Lap Ching
4D WANG Junhao Allen
4D FANG Amy Yu

Among them, Amy Fang Yu received a full HKIEA x CityUHK Connect Scholarship to attend a five-day Global Conference Leadership Camp preceding the main conference. During the bootcamp, Amy engaged in debates, interactive workshops, on-site visits, and university lectures. She also stayed overnight at the CityUHK student residence, where she forged lifelong friendships.

Throughout the two-day SCMUN conference, our students delivered speeches and took part in interactive activities, sharpening their leadership, debate, and diplomacy skills. Their hard work paid off at the closing ceremony, where our school received the Best Participating School Award. Additionally, TANG Yi Ling was recognised for her Outstanding Performance in Pre-Conference Preparation Work, while FANG Amy Yu was nominated to represent the team at overseas Model United Nations conferences starting in late August.
