Exploring France and Monaco: A Journey of Cultural Discovery

Exploring France and Monaco: A Journey of Cultural Discovery

 02 Jun 2025

During the Easter break, two students from class 4C, Cherry LAM Cheuk-yan and PENG Jin, embarked on an exchange tour to France and Monaco through the program “Strive for Success” by Tuen Mun HAD. The trip not only allowed them to broaden their horizons, but also provided them with an invaluable opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant blend of French history and culture.

Beginning in Paris, the itinerary featured several landmarks, such as the iconic Eiffel Tower, the magnificent Louvre Museum. Moving on to Nice, our students were fascinated by the stunning coastal scenery. In Monaco, the luxury of the Casino left a memorable impression. The in-depth interactions at the Chinese Embassy in Paris, the Consular Affairs Office, and the Paris International University fostered a deeper appreciation for the history of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, as well as the significance of cultural exchange.

Exploring the French dynamic lifestyle and dining at local restaurants allowed them to experience French culture in different aspects. Communicating with locals on the street encouraged them to step beyond their comfort zones and enriched their understanding of the French work-life balance. Throughout the journey, our students gained unforgettable memories along with profound personal growth. We look forward to more such meaningful adventures in the future.
