47th Athletics Meet: A Great Success
18 Dec 2024
The 47th Athletics Meet took place on December 10 and 11, and it was a wonderful success. Our athletes showed great effort and passion in every event. From sprinting on the track to jumping in the field, their hard work was impressive and inspiring.
The cheering teams from each house added to the excitement of the meet. Their loud cheers and support brought everyone together, creating a strong sense of unity. It was heartwarming to see students rallying for their teammates, encouraging them to do their best.
We would like to thank all the student helpers and prefects who worked diligently behind the scenes. Their support in various roles was crucial for the smooth running of the event. They helped with everything from setting up the venue to making sure the events were organized.
A special thank you goes to our guest of honor, Miss Yeung Man-wai, the Hong Kong female high jump record holder. We were honored to have her join us for the closing ceremony. Her presence inspired many students, showing them what can be achieved with dedication and hard work.
Overall, the 47th Athletics Meet was not just about competition; it was a celebration of talent, teamwork, and school spirit. We look forward to next year’s meet, eager to see even more efforts and achievements from our athletes.
